Self-efficacy is a set of beliefs about your own ability to perform a specific task. Put another way, it’s like self-confidence, but for individual tasks rather than as a broad personality trait.

There are three acknowledged ways to enhance self-efficacy:
  • Experience yourself successfully achieving effective behaviours
  • Observe peers successfully achieving effective behaviours
  • Receive third-party affirmation about your increased competence

All three of these processes are integral to our work at in•flu•ence.

As a result of leveraging these processes in our programs, participants gain the confidence and competence to implement best practice leadership skills and behaviours back at work.
